    Mission

    The Computer Science Degree program has the mission of training professionals with a high level of scientific and technological knowledge and a sense of social responsibility, committed to their environment, capable of identifying problems and offering solutions, promoting the ethical and responsible application of technologies. of information and communication for the benefit of the State and the Country.

    Vision

    The Computer Science Bachelor’s program has the vision of being an accredited program, attended by a group of academics associated with consolidated Academic Bodies, which are permanently updating study plans and programs, integrating new knowledge and strategies into the different subjects. of learning as a result of scientific and technological research. Thus, academics, students and graduates make up multi and interdisciplinary professionals who promote the effective use of existing human and material resources and promote and participate in inter-institutional mobility programs. All of the above gives the groups thus integrated and organized a holistic vision of the challenges, scope and opportunities of their profession in a regional, national and international context.

    Objectives

    1. Train computer science professionals dedicated to managing and offering innovative solutions in various environments, derived from the analysis, modeling, design, implementation and evaluation of complex projects for the automation of processes that can be treated with computer systems and ensuring the integrity of the information with high impact on the labor market at local, national, and international levels, with an entrepreneurial attitude and capable of transforming their environment with responsibility and ethical commitment.
    2. Promote links and collaboration with the public, social and business sectors to carry out innovative research and technological development projects that contribute to progress in the area of ​​computer science, as well as to increase the level of advancement of society in the contexts national and global, seeking a balance between the generation of basic, economically relevant and socially useful knowledge.
